Announcing your Name

At TESU, graduates announce their own name as they cross the stage. This has become a signature feature of the Commencement experience - one that our graduates truly appreciate and look forward to.

Our adult learners work incredibly hard to earn their degrees, often while balancing careers, military service, family responsibilities, and personal challenges. Speaking your own name is a powerful moment that allows you to proudly declare your accomplishment.

Please note that because graduates announce their own name on stage, your name will not be announced if you are not in attendance.
